Assignment was to make an image from a literary passage. It's based off my book The Obsidian Rumor:
"The complete absence of illumination consumed my worries. I screamed out in desperation, willing the blackness away. I emerged from the ashes of my nightmare a new creature, becoming mindful of a wintry core that permeated from the cavity of my heart.
